UD has been home to me for many years, so I am excited and honored to work with students in the Counseling Center. My theoretical orientation is grounded in Internal Family Systems and reflects influences from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Motivational Interviewing. My professional interests include depression, anxiety, grief and loss, chronic pain, addictions, and life transitions.

I enjoy helping students change their relationship with difficult thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so they can better meet the challenges of college life. I recognize the relationship between body, mind, and spirit and, for students who wish it, am open to including a faith perspective into therapy.

When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family—including our two dogs, listening to classic jazz, reading, studying history, cultivating suburban meadows, and hiking.
