Department of Counselor Education & Human Services accreditation information

The Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) granted accreditation to the University of Dayton School of Education and Health Sciences. CAEP is the sole accrediting body for educator preparation and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation to accredit programs for the preparation of teachers and other professional school personnel.

National Association of School Psychologists (NASP)

School Psychology

Has full Specialist Level (SL) approval from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). NASP is the premier source of knowledge, professional development, and resources, empowering school psychologists to ensure that all children and youth attain optimal learning and mental health. The program is also approved by the Ohio Department of Education for meeting requirements leading to a School Psychologist License.
