Profile
Ashley S. Wright is the Director of Educational Equity Programs and a Ph.D. student in the Educational Leadership: Higher Education program at the University of Dayton. Ashley has over eight years experience teaching English at the secondary and post-secondary levels. She has provided training to colleagues and presented on culturally responsive practices within the classroom at the Wright State University Network for Educational Renewal Conference while serving as an Equity Fellow from 2018-20. She is a 2020 Teacher of Influence Award recipient, and was recently one of nine recipients of the 2023 AAC&U K. Patricia Cross Future Leaders Award. Ashley is committed to advancing equity through educational formation, and believes that impactful community engagement can be achieved through partnership and advocacy.
