Presenter information for symposium

IC Symposium, 2024

The Arcade is conveniently located on many RTA Bus Routes, including the free FLYER which runs every 10 minutes (6 a.m.-midnight, Monday-Friday). Presenters joining from UD are encouraged to utilize the free FLYER. Parking meters surround the Arcade block, and are enforced from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Presenters/panelists may have their parking pass validated by parking at the Reibold Garage, on the corner of Main Street and W. 5th Street. The parking validation is for a one-time (not one-day) use. A parking validation sticker (free parking in Reibold Garage) will be available to you at the presenter check-in table as you enter the building.

There's an assortment of dining options around UD and The Arcade. Please reference the dining guide below for more information.

Dining information

Free Wi-Fi is available at The Arcade (Hub Guest). Each presentation room has a computer with a large screen. All of the rooms (except the Tank) have white boards, as well. If you wish to use your own laptop, all of the rooms (except the Tank) have adaptors available to connect to most laptops. If you plan to use a computer for your presentation, we recommend having a backup such as a flash drive/jump drive and/or presentation saved on a cloud-based platform such as Google Slides. Each session will have a volunteer who can provide technical support for you.

Presenters in the Tank, Room 048: Please note that this room is more auditorium style, so there are no white boards available. There is a computer and projector available. If you wish to use your own computer, it can be connected to an HDMI hookup. If your computer doesn’t have an HDMI port, please let us know so we can help to make other arrangements. Given the large size of the Tank, two microphones will be available in the space.
