MEC Pre-Orientation (MECPrO), held the week before Welcome Weekend, is a free program for incoming first-year multicultural students and families, sponsored by the Multi-Ethnic Education and Engagement Center (MEC).

Students are introduced to integral support services and resources through a series of presentations and activities.  Students are also provided with an opportunity to network with fellow UD students, faculty, staff, and administrators.

Note: Students attending MECPrO may also participate in other early arrival programs on campus (i.e.,Honors’ Students Welcome, Camp Blue). After registration is complete, students will receive directions from MEC, including a detailed schedule of events.
