Experience the world with education abroad

If your student is interested in studying abroad this summer, the deadline to apply is Thursday, Feb. 1. Visit the Education Abroad and Away website or Alumni Hall 211, or email GIA@udayton.edu with questions.

What does "CDA Course Material Bookstore" mean on my student's account?

Families might notice a "CDA Course Material Bookstore" charge on their student's account. CDA stands for Complete Digital Access program, which makes required course materials available online to students the first day of class through Isidore. The textbook scholarship or student accounts are not charged until after the semester drop date (Jan. 29). Before the start of each semester, students receive an email listing their CDA courses, the cost per course, opt out instructions and other information. Students also can access this information anytime through Isidore.

For the spring semester, CDA student charges exceeding the textbook scholarship will be processed at the end of February. If you see a CDA Course Material Bookstore charge on your February bill and have questions, encourage your student to refer to the "Welcome to Complete Digital Access" email. The UD Bookstore (937-229-3233) and Flyer Student Services (937-229-4141) also can answer questions regarding the specific purchases.
