THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

Holy Week 2024

University offices will be closed Friday, March 29, in observance of Good Friday. University offices will reopen Monday, April 1. You are invited to celebrate Holy Week and the Easter Triduum at UD in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception. Holy Week Reconciliation and service schedules can be found here.

Celebrating Easter

For Christians, Easter celebrates the resurrection of Jesus — the triumph of life's victory over death. Easter is a celebration of hope. God promises victory over death through faith in Jesus, who is the true light of the world. Because of Jesus, Christians look forward to their everlasting life. The victory of life over death also has significance in daily life, in the ways that Christians grow as disciples of Jesus, who accompanies all through the joys and challenges of living in faith. The Easter season lasts 50 days, through the celebration of Pentecost. Read more on the Campus Ministry website.
