Student Outcomes
Student outcomes are among the most important factors in how we measure our success. And we know you want to see a positive impact from your student’s educational investment. How will the Class of 2024 carry on UD’s legacy of student success? Watch the video to see where they’ll soar after graduation.
Explore Student Outcomes View the Latest Flyer First Destination Survey ResultsWe’ve started receiving FAFSA data from the U.S. Department of Education and are processing the information as quickly as possible to prepare financial aid offers. If your student filed the FAFSA, they should have received an email confirming that we have their FAFSA information earlier this week. We’ll begin sending personalized financial aid offers to admitted students in the coming weeks and continue into May. Students will receive an email when their financial aid offer is available in their Admission Account, and the printed offer will follow in the mail.
At UD, our commitment to inclusive excellence is rooted in our Catholic and Marianist mission, which calls on us to celebrate the innate dignity of every person. We’re proud of the high levels of achievement made by our multi-ethnic students as measured by our most recent retention, graduation and success rates. While we’ve made significant advances in diversity, equity and inclusion, we recognize the need for continued progress — and we’re committed to helping all students succeed as we work together toward greater excellence.
In our recent financial aid survey, one of the most popular topics students asked to learn more about is how credits from previous coursework and exams transfer to the University of Dayton. We make it simple to transfer credit in a variety of ways — whether the credit is earned through exams (including AP, CLEP or IB), College Credit Plus (CCP) or a high school dual enrollment program.
We encourage students to use our free Transferology tool to instantly see how credits will transfer to UD. They may also refer to the tables on our Credit by Exam webpage, or request a preliminary credit evaluation.
The University will begin sending financial aid offers in the coming weeks. Updates will be sent by email and available in your student’s Admission Account.
If your student is ready to confirm enrollment, here are the next steps:
- Log in to the Admission Account.
- Click ‘View Your Decision,’ then ‘Reply to Offer.’
- Pay the $400 nonrefundable deposit, if applicable, and confirm enrollment.
Students must confirm enrollment in their Admission Account by our May 15 extended deadline. After confirming enrollment, your student will receive an email to activate their University of Dayton Porches account to access their next steps and opportunities.
Next Steps
If your student hasn't applied yet, there's still time ahead of our extended April 30 deadline.
